“Lozovsky Forging-Mechanical Plant”, the largest forging , hot-stamping and machinery enterprise in Ukraine, the member of the Industrial Group UPEC, for the first half-year sold its production more than in 112mln.gr.

This index of the enterprise pure income excessed the result of the last year in 35mln.gr. So the growth of sales, as compared with the last half-year period, made up 145%.

The pure profit of LKMZ for the first half year period made up 5,97mln.gr.( the financial result of the enterprise for the whole 2006 was 3,16mln.gr.).

The considerable growth of sales volume was provided by the increasing demand for the producing products in internal market (first of all the enterprises of railroad engineering and motor-car industry: Stahanovsky and Kryukovsky Car – Building Plants, Azovmash, AvtoZAZ and others engineering enterprises), and external orders (Minsk Motor Plant, Amkodor, Gomselmash and others.)

In the whole the part of export in the volume of sales for the first half-year period grew in a third: up to 46,5%.

Close Corporation “Lozovsky Forging-Mechaniсal Plant” is the biggest forging and hot stamping enterprise in Ukraine and in UIS. The enterprise specializes in producing stamping of 300 different types. The producing capacity is to 180 thousand tones a year. As the plant is a multi-profile enterprise it is also the leader in producing axles for grain harvesters, road-building machines, axles for buses, the details for movable train set of cars. The pure income of “LKMZ” in 2006 increased in 14,3% and was 186,44mln.gr. The part of export in sales increased in 1,7 time and formed 34,66%. In 2007 the enterprise is planning to rise the pure income to 320mln.gr

“UPEC” is one of the biggest machine-building company in Ukraine. It was founded in 1995. The Industrial group UPEC includes three directions of activity:

the producing of components (“Kharkov Bearing Plant”(HARP),”Lozovsky Forging-Mechanical Plant”(LKMZ), “Ukrainian Foundry Company”(ULK);

electrical engineering (Kharkov Electrical Engineering Plant “Ukrelectromash”(HELZ);

machine-tool building (“Kharkov Kosior Machine-Building Plant”(Harverst)

The group UPEC also includes: ”Sewing Factory Named after Tinyakov”, ”Factorial-Bank”, and other enterprises. The gross profit of enterprises of Industrial group UPEC was about 1mln.gr. in 2006.
